Refund & Cancellation Policy

You may request to cancel a registration by contacting us at admin@metahub.my .

• Registrations may be cancelled before they have been confirmed and paid.
• Once a registration has been confirmed and paid, or once the related Event has commenced, cancellation for a refund may no longer be possible (see Section 6).
• Certain promotional or discounted registrations may not be eligible for cancellation.

Refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:

• The Event is cancelled in full by us (the organiser).
• A duplicate, incorrect, or failed payment was charged.
• The registration was cancelled within an eligible cancellation period stated for that Event.
• Other circumstances reviewed and approved at our discretion (see Section 7).

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days from the date of payment.

Unless required by applicable law, the following are generally non-refundable:

• Registration or entry fees once a team's registration is confirmed and paid (except as set out in this Policy).
• Gift cards, vouchers or credits.
• Promotional, discounted, “early bird”, or final/closed-registration entries.
• Completed Events, matches already played, or services already rendered.
• Any item or fee specifically stated as non-refundable at the time of registration.

To request a refund, please provide: registration or receipt reference number; name and team used for the registration; Event name; reason for the request; and supporting documentation where applicable. Refund requests are typically reviewed within 5–10 business days. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method (via Fiuu) unless otherwise agreed. Depending on your bank, card issuer or e-wallet provider, it may take a further 5–14 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Where applicable, and at our discretion, we may offer a credit toward a future Event or a transfer of your registration instead of a refund.

For registrations relating to an event, league, tournament or match:

• Cancellations requested by a participant before the registration is confirmed and paid may qualify for a full refund.
• Once a registration is confirmed and paid, registration fees are non-refundable if the participant withdraws, cancels, or fails to attend (“no-show”), except as provided in Sections 2 and 7.
• We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule an Event due to operational requirements, insufficient registrations, safety concerns, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Where an Event is cancelled by us, affected participants receive a full refund; where an Event is postponed or rescheduled, registrations carry over, or a credit or refund may be offered at our discretion.

We recognise that genuine exceptional circumstances may arise (for example, a medical emergency or bereavement). You may contact us and we will review your request individually. Any refund, partial refund, or credit granted is at our sole discretion, decided case-by-case, and is not guaranteed. Supporting documentation may be requested.

Requests to modify a registration (for example, team or player details) will be accommodated where reasonably possible but cannot be guaranteed after confirmation.

Please contact us first so we can resolve any payment concern directly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may delay resolution and may affect your eligibility to register for future Events.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The version published on events.metahub.my at the time of your registration applies to that registration.
